Miu Miu

Back to reality from Vegas and I miss it already! Well, it was fun while it lasted.

My favorite purchase that I made while in Vegas would be this Miu Miu bracelet from the Miu Miu store in City Center.

Champagne & water while I shop? Yes please! :)

It can be expected to see this bracelet on me quite a bit for a while ;p

Brown circle lenses

Like I had said earlier, I got new circle lenses and like I had promised, I am making a post on them.
I got the Geo's Bambi Princess Mimi in Chocolate Brown.


I was pleasantly surprised when I put these on because they have this orange-ish tint that almost looks pink at times. The lighting plays tricks with these lenses. People have asked me several times, "what color are your lenses?"
Well, as usual, I'll just let the pictures do the talking. :)

Shopping

Ever go shopping looking for something in particular, but come home with everything but that? Yeah, today was one of those days for me.
Since I'm going to Vegas next week, I went shopping for some clothes to keep me cool in the hot 100+ weather, but came home with Michael Kors dress pants and BCBG sandals. Hey, at least I can take the sandals with me! ;p

Speaking of Vegas, I am still at loss for what to do in Vegas.
Problem? A bit. Anyone have any ideas for me??!

Anyways, what I bought.

Since this is my first "shopping" post, it's not readily apparent, but I've been into braided details lately, so I couldn't pass these sale BCBG braid-strapped sandals! Super comfy to the point where I don't even have to break them in. YAY! I love comfortable shoes!

I'm not particularly fond of the classic black dress pants so I love love love it when I find black dress pants that are a little different, like these! These are skinny around the ankles, fold over at the top and are buttoned through the folds which gives a slightly slouched look in the crotch area. This picture doesn't do it justice and my description probably doesn't either. I'll have to wear them out one day and take pictures to make up for it. ;p

So that makes two posts I've put a rain check on!:

Hair cut

I am having the hardest time growing out my hair. I get in trouble every time I walk into the hair salon and I know it, but for some strange reason I keep on going. I'm going to blame it on the mid-length-hair-requires-constant-trims syndrome. Bleh!

Ah, and as it may or may not go by unnoticed, I have different circle lenses on here. A post dedicated to them is to come in the near future!

Blue circle lenses

I can't lie. I love circle lenses.

Ever since I started to wear them, 4 years ago, I always got more subtle colors like brown, grey, and black.

After 4 years, I decided that I needed some change! With the excuse of needing a more summery look, I ordered a pair of blue circle lenses: Geo's Xtra Forest Blue, model WT-B62.

In my personal opinion, I think these lenses look much nicer further away than close up. I like the blue-ish sparkle effect they give my eyes, but given that these lenses are a bold blue color and one-tone, they don't blend into my dark brown eyes and this is readily apparent close up.

But really, people don't talk to me all up in my face (or rather, eyes), so this isn't really a problem.

Lunch at Michel's

Excuse my lackluster expression and the wrinkles on my dress. I love this blush pink Michael Kor's dress, but it just seems to get wrinkled more easily than I thought it would and it wasn't necessarily a good pick for my long day. Nonetheless, the wrinkles didn't stop me from having a good day... or a good eat :)

I went out to Michel's, one of my more preferred places to go out for lunch.

Their desserts never fail to disappoint! I had the Yellowtail Carpacchio for the first time and it is absolutely amazing (3rd picutre)! <3

Something is so rewarding about going out to lunch especially if you've gone through a long morning. Unlike when you go out to dinner, when you walk out and you still have the whole day ahead of you... Given the circumstances, this could be a thing to dread or a thing to anticipate. Fortunately, my situation is the latter of the two. And how can I not have a good day after eating well? :)

Hellohello,

Generally this blog will act like a photo diary composed around the general theme of fashion, food, & fun.

But before just delving in, I believe an introduction is necessary (not really, but whatever).

I have been thinking about starting a blog for quite some time... for some reason I kept on delaying it, but I shall delay no longer!
The idea of starting a blog grew from the fact that I always have my camera on me and take so many pictures, but the vast majority of them go unseen. Then thoughts started to build upon each other. Thoughts like "having a blog would serve a perfect median for me to collect my thoughts and be able to see the changes" or "having a blog would require me to use my noggin to actually construct sentences and take more pictures."
... WHY should these thoughts fill my mind?! To toss all these nonsense thoughts out of my head I've decided to just get into blogging and see where it takes me...

I'll share a picture to kick start it all...
If I was superstitious I would make sure that I had some super-fabulous pictures for my first post so all things that follow will be even-more-super-fabulous... Fact is I'm not... So here it goes.

My first self-knitted scarf. Although it's still summer, I'm armed for winter. :)
